Cookie Notice
Last updated: 27 March 2026
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work properly, remember your preferences and provide information to site owners.
We also use browser localStorage — another way websites can store small amounts of data on your device, similar in function to a cookie. Where relevant, this notice covers both.
AltarDesk uses cookies in two contexts: this website (altardesk.co.uk) and the AltarDesk service (your account, once logged in).
We review this notice annually and update it when we change which cookies we use.
1. Types of cookies we use
First-party cookies are set by Rayscent Ltd directly. We use them for authentication, security and remembering your preferences.
Third-party cookies are set by other companies (such as Stripe and Google Analytics). We have no direct control over these cookies — please refer to each provider's own cookie policy for details.
2. Cookies on this website (altardesk.co.uk)
Essential cookies (always on)
These cookies are required for the website to function. They cannot be disabled.
Analytics cookies (consent required)
These cookies are only set if you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner.
Analytics cookies are only loaded after you give consent via our cookie banner. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. No personal data is sent to advertisers.

Marketing cookies
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on altardesk.co.uk. We do not display advertisements. If this changes, we will update this notice and obtain fresh consent.
3. Cookies in the AltarDesk service (logged-in app)
When you are logged in and using AltarDesk, cookies are limited to those essential for keeping your session secure. No analytics or marketing cookies are used inside the app.
These cookies are essential. Blocking them will prevent AltarDesk from functioning correctly.
4. Managing your cookie preferences
You can change your cookie preferences for altardesk.co.uk at any time using the Cookie Settings link in our website footer.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, block cookies from specific sites, or block all third-party cookies.
